CAMRA, The Campaign for Real Ale opens its doors to the public for its prestigious National Winter Ales Festival on Thursday 24th January.
Billed as CAMRA's home to the coveted Champion Winter Beer of Britain competition, the consumers choice of the best British beers, beer lovers everywhere will be able to enjoy top brews from all over the world.
Key features of the Festival will be:
· CAMRA's national celebration of great winter beers
· CAMRA launch new national 'Full Pint' campaign
· Over 100 top real ales - winter warmers, old ales, stouts, porters and massive selection of bitters.
· Cider and Perry Bar
· Traditional pub games
· Hot & Cold Food available every session
· Special Foreign Beers Bar
· Judging the best winter beer in Britain - celebrity judges include Oz Clarke, Martin Enfield (TV Journalist) and Bernard Wrigley (Folk singer, comedian and actor). Last year's winner was Orkney Brewery's 8.5% ABV 'Skullsplitter'.
